With the WebAdmin console in the works, I would like to see the ability to centrally manage everything under the Options menu in Messenger. Being able to choose between "set and lock" or "set and let users change" would be a good ability of this console.

For example, I have some users who change their "idle" timeout and tell other staff to do so as well so it looks like they are at their computer when they are not. I would want to set and lock this to prevent this from happening. Meanwhile I would like to set the notifications for when a user comes online or goes offline, or show offline contacts to being "off" by default but if the user wants to change this they are able to.
