In groupwise display settings we'd like to have a column added to show the content of "My Notes" (Personalize). This way a user can easily search for the specific items. For example when getting scans via e-mail they all have the same subject and sender address. Personal notes help keep them organized, but they are hard to track currently.

I would consider this essential. The point of making "note" of something is for it to be easily seen. Having to "dig" for notes on something is cumbersome. Logically speaking any physical sheet of paper that has a note on it stands out because it's typically meant to be seen at first glance. GroupWise in my opinion should follow this logic with the option of being able to display notes as a column so you don't have to open multiple messages to find a note against it.
