When I send a message to a group that I'm a member of, it shouldn't send that message back to me.
There should be a checkbox to enable or disable this behaviour when the group is created or modified.

Don't receive own messages from groups

Knowing that some people do like/love emailing themselves, this would have to be a user option along the lines of "don't send me back my message when sent to a group I belong to"
I doubt that this option could be sanely managed by anyone but the sender who doesn't want their sent mail in their inbox. Ideal would be that a user could set this per group, but I'll be satisfied with this being for all groups I belong to.
The work around for now would be to set a rule that "for new messages that if sender is me, move to a folder, or delete"
