google mail has an good feature to undo sending mails for a short time.
make an global admin option to delay sending emails.
let the admin define the seconds for delaying internal and external emails separated.
in this time - for example - 60 seconds - the user can undo send and delete or re edit the message.

Whilst retract for internal use is great, I like the idea of being able to retract external email as well. I often get asked if a message that has sent externally can be retracted, and it is usually within minutes of it being sent. Putting this feature in the hands of the end user sounds like a great idea!
+1. Would be very useful for end users to have something in place like this that could prevent confidential documents/emails going to the wrong recipients.
I like the idea, but remember that all outgoing mail will be delayed by the "undo" timeout.
the delay is intended.
my suggestion is a separat time setting for internal and for external.
so every company can decide wich delay is the best for its business.
if the setting is also availible per user. that would be nice, but no musthave.
