Sometimes, it is useful in an LDAP query to see if a user is an external entity (non associated) or what LDAP directory a user is in fact associated with. The data is available in the GW Admin Console under "Directory Server ID" ... if there is no value, the user is not associated, otherwise, it gives the name of the directory server.

I would like to see this as a searchable value in the MTA LDAP server. I have run an LDAP browser and I have not seen this as an available value.
