As far as I am aware this feature already exists. If you go to "Send Options" on an e-mail you can set an expiration date. Is that what you are looking for?
This is for sending and for groupwise users, what I meant was when you receive an email you can give a time when that email is auto deleted.
This feature exists in tools | options | send options as Expiration Date. If you send an email and it hasn't been opened by that date it is auto deleted/retracted. Once it is opened then the recipient is in control of when it is deleted.
