Currently emails can only be saved as plain text, RTF or MIME. Add PDF as an option.
If the PDF includes all header information and a list of attachments, it could be used to store the formatted mail in a harder to change format which is easy to view.
Batch export should be supported.

PDF would be nice. You can already select multiple messages and use the File - Save As option.
Agreed - a native PDF export of the message would be a very popular option here.
really useful idea - especially if you could select which of the message/properites/attachments you wanted and if to save as individual or one pdf document.
This is close to being achievable. Use a product called PDFCreator from PDFForge. It is possible to "print" your messages to PDF format. The problem is that I have not been able to find a way to print the message with properties in one go. The easiest way to enable this would be to make it possible to print the message with full details in a single step.
Yes the workaround with PDFCreator or any other virtual pdf printer works of course. Another workaround would be to implement a C3PO that uses a library like iTextSharp. There you could also print the full details (which are accessible through the Object API or Token API). But this is all non-native and therefore not supported. And since PDF is the de facto document standard around the globe there should be some native and supported functionality.
This is planned for GroupWise 14.2.1 release
