We use for some teams shared groupwise mailboxes like "sales@" or "informations@" and so on.
Sometimes we have to now who has opened, deleted, forwarded or moved a mail in such a team mailbox.

It would be great if there would be more log informations for "proxy access" to other mailboxes.

  • This should be a general request for Groupwise to support proper auditing, regardless if by proxies or users in general. This is one of it's weak spots compared to other solutions.
Nevertheless, even if buried in a mess, you should get most of this out of the verbose POA logs. At least you know when a proxy accessed a mailbox and also that someone deleted something as such. WHat you can't see easily is *what* got deleted.

  • You could leverage Retain for Archiving so you can see (and restore) what was deleted

  • That's not the problem. I have a Backuparea from last day and other restore areas.
I just need more LOG informations. Maybe an own Logfile for "ProxyAccess" with detailed informations what a proxy user have done in the proxy mailbox.
