Case the GMS service is started before the POA server that the GMS is setup to look for, then the GroupWiseMobility connector shuts down after ~30 secs as it cannot connect to that POA. Even if there are multiple POA's in your environment. It does not retry in such case untill the POA is launched succesfull or available (again). A rcgms status shows all GMS services running, so only in the GMS admin console the GroupWise Connector is shutdown. The Mobility Connector is running and Mobile Devices can connect while new stuff is put in the "queue" until the GroupWise Connector is started manually.
We need to create a script todat to check for the POA availability form the GMS side and then (re)start GMS services to get all up and running again. It would be much friendlier if the GMS connector itself would re-check every x-minutes and start the connector based on such.
