Our GW system is new for the company. Therefor end users are mistrustful. They say that emails are disappearing from their mailboxes although they have not deleted/archived them. They say that GW is deleting random emails from mailboxes. With the current log features of GW I cannot prove anything. Neither that they are wrong nor that GW deleted the emails. The only thing that I can prove is than I cannot prove anything. The POA logs are for GW administrators to look after technical issues, details and not for auditing. What I need is a detailed audit of mailboxes. When, who, what. The most common questions are
- What happened to my email with the subject "My favorite subject". I am sure that I have not deleted it, but I cannot find it in my mailbox.
- Who sent this email from the info@company mailbox with the gw proxy feature?
- Give me a list of every sent/received email from UserA in September 2016. Date, time, subject, size, attachments, sender, recipients
And of course this feature is needed for online, caching, remote, webaccess, gms, imap, pop clients in one location. Sentinel or any kind of SIEM integration would be also welcomed.

  • We are trying to move from FirstClass email system and this is one feature that keeps us from moving to Groupwise. FirstClass shows when message/folders are created, deleted, sent, etc. We need this level of detail.

  • yes we need more detailed logs vor user activity, especially as proxy user
