When entering an appointment to the calendar, most of the time you first enter the date and afterwards you set the date to a recurring factor. Lets say you choose the 15 September, then you set the recurring date to weekly and everything is fine, from the 15th on, every 1 week the date re-occurs.
BUT if you set to monthly, the recurring logic has to be completely re-set, because it starts with the first day of the month, which then is the 1st of october. Instead it would be more logical to have Groupwise set it to every 15th of the month.
After you set Yearly it is set to 1st of January. If you dont have a second look and click ok because you told him the first date and to reoccur yearly, then at the overview it looks like: First Date: 15th September coming Yearly (which it doesnt). If you send the appointment then it seems to be gone, because you expect it to enter in september (but it enters in october for monthly and in january for yearly set).
Instead when i choose yearly i would recommend that the client by default sets the start date, in this example a yearly recurring date also to "every 15th september".
