We have more and more the request to restrict the synchronization during off-time for several users, as the users are not strong enough to _not_ read incoming items at evening/weekend/holidays

So we request for an ability to do this on user based:
- checkbox: disable sync, if "Vacation rule" is active
- define work time for users and prohibit synchronization during off-time

• This is similar to my enhancement request "Set a recipient notifications schedule that controls delivery" https://ideas.microfocus.com/MFI/novell-gw/Idea/Detail/12406. My request was more of a post office agent (server-side) request; where this is pointed at Mobility. But the basic goal is the same: allow (or administratively push) people to disconnect. This is a selling point of Basecamp 3 - that people can set their messaging schedule. It's a good idea, and could help differentiate GroupWise from some of the larger competition.

• Hello David,
  maybe a workaround or idea for you... Googles Android for Work offers a Work / out of office feature on all Android AfW device.
