If a user has auto-archiving turned on, and closes the client while email is being archived, archiving continues in the background.
However, the user is now unable to open the client until archiving is complete. Instead gwreload.exe is loaded, which launches the client once archiving is complete BUT the user has no notification that this will happen. To them, it looks like the client just won't start.
This makes for a frustrating user experience, and I've had users restart their PC's just so they can get back into their email.
Either stop archiving, if the client is closed, or stop the archiving from blocking the client from opening, or at least let the user know why the client won't open.
