A user modifies the location of a future instance, and then the user edits the appointment again before the modified instance and selects this instance forward and it overwrites the first modification without informing the user.
The logic should be that when the attendee list is modified, it should not change the message content. When message content is modified, it should change the modified date of the affected instances. That would then allow a future modification to know there was an earlier change and at the very least prompt the user with, "The content of this instance has been modified since the original recurring appointment was created. Do you want your current change to replace or append those earlier modifications?" Choose replace or append. Then follow that with the this instance only, or all instances going forward prompt.
