We would like the ability to get notifications about activity without having a chat room open. Currently if a user doesn't have every chat room that they belong to open, they don't know if there is any activity or not.

We would love this feature. Maybe allow a user to 'subscribe' to a chat room, so they get popup notifications (like regular conversations) when a message is sent to that chat room?
