What I really want to have is a GroupWise App which can be downloaded in the Apple App-Store, Google-Play or the Microsoft App-Store. Integration for contacts, calendar and notes. Add some admin manageable security features and all mobile users would be very happy.

Would be indeed have a positieve effect. Standaard IOS mail app is not working good every time. By example calendar view is not good in de original mail app from iOS, and when you look with a GW Mailbox app from Ghost Pattern Software, the calendar looks good.

Was told at GW Summit, that apps are planned, but only if you use ZEN!!! This doesn't make sense, they should be available for all GW users.

As Jens mentions the ZCM Mobile Workspace solution looks really promising as that leverages SOAP to access the POA and can support more GroupWise specific features an ActiveSync solution does not. Security wise it also does add a lot of value.
Pitty the ZCMMW is not part of the Suite and not part of GW. Would have made sense to make this available to GW users on maintence too as the number one issue of my customers is ActiveSync... an that is the main driver for moving to like Exchange of Google.
@Susanne I recently spoke to someone that has this working with MobileIron. So, I would say it should work, but you would still be using AS.
@ Sebastiaan V. You right, it works. But if any problems occured and no solution is found, then it is an GroupWise-fault.....
We need Email+ for the Mobiliron containerfunction and Email+ do not support GroupWise (only Exchange and IBM Lotus Traveler).
We need an GroupWiseApp with Mobilirion containerfunction (so as Filr and iPrint).
Or Microfocus enabled with Mobiliron official support for the Email+ App.
