I have users complaining that a matching color bar follows the mouse making it confusing as to which email is actually highlighted. Would like a custom setting or scheme that turns this off or makes it a clear box.

Agree. The main problem is that the color for the mouse-over is the same as the acztually selected message. Clear box with just the border would be the best solution.
I'll have to agree, my users find this frustrating as well. As an admin, I'm not a huge fan either.
It's even worse for the users who are color blind.
I agree. If the user turns off GroupWise color schemes the highlighting is very annoying and the mouse over is even worse. With the GroupWise Color schemes turned on it is not as annoying but then you have to choose a background color and white is not an option. Kind of a lesser of two evils choice according to our users. Highlighting an email is good, but it would be nice to be able to turn off the mouse over effect.
I'll have to agree too. Please make an option to turn off the mouse over effect.
