Many business processes could readily be triggered by some basic rule actions, but currently the existing rules keep us within the confines of GroupWise requiring human intervention to carry an action from a received email to the business process. Most humans don't always just live in email, and there are many process that need a faster processing reaction with rule configured alert levels.
ex. to automatically print out messages that meet specific criteria
ex. to launch a script (be they old *.BAT, PowerShell, BASH, etc...)
ex. Open message full screen with a sound.
right now our best option is to use some other POP client that has this ability.

Hey, we would also appreciate that feature. In our enviroment GW-Client is used as a fax-client. And therefore in some "classic Workplace situations" incomming faxes are preferred as a printed Paperwork...the fax solution only supports printing in an MS-enviroment with windows print-server. we are using iprint (IPP) pls help, pls vote.
In other words. Creating a Printing rule as a serverprocess would solve our problem. Incomming faxes needed printed out even when the client ist switched of. thanks and regards
