Some customers do not have the Novell Client installed in their user base and only use GroupWise client but MUST have password complexity enabled for auditor requirements.
Also, we have customers still using GroupWise without LDAP autentication. So the user password are saved into the Groupwise user dbs.
In resumen, how could we enforce robust password in customer that are don't using LDAP authentication?. Without this mechanism, GW turns vulnerable against dictionary attacks.

When in GroupWise password mode, MicroFocus needs to add a GroupWise password policy capability to force the password to change every X Days, plus, force a password complexity rule set of the password having to be a minimum number of characters, and has to be mixed case with some numeric and special charters in it. A password of "a" will not cut it in today's society which GroupWise allows.
Like GMS at minimum.

It's unbelievable that Groupwise doesnt have this feature yet. At least Password minimum cases settings should be able to set. I like the idea to compare it to the GMS settings. We have groupwise passwords independant from the Client login which makes sense in many cases.
Still not here in GW 18. Micro Focus not heard of GDPR and Cyber Security? Come on guys, this needs to be pushed up the list
Yes we really need this feature in GroupWise 2018 URGENTLY please. It is important that from the server you can have an enforce on the change of passwords, compliance with policies, reset of passwords allowing the user when he returns to enter must configure a robust password.
Groupwise has always been characterized by being robust and not vulnerable to attacks, but unfortunately, every castle or fortress has as its weakness the entry, and in this case are the credentials of the users.

Is Security not important ? Come On Micro Focus, every enterprise Collaboration Software is able to do this.
This should already be in place. Please add this to the next release.
