At this moment IDM 4.8 is only supported on PostgreSQL 9.6. There are a lot of companies that offer standard managed internal database services with backups, clustering and other. These standard services are often no longer PostgreSQL 9 but based on PostgreSQL 10 or 11 and sometimes even 12.

I would like IDM 4.8 to be more flexible in supported PostgreSQL versions.
