All, We are looking for comments and suggestions on how you are using reporting in your environment including but not limited to the following;

1. What reports are you using from our Pre-Defined, out of the box, reports
2. Do you have custom defined reports?
3. Are their reports that you consider the most basic necessary reports out of the box?
4. Do you use your own reporting system out of what is provided in IDM?
5. Do you provide different reports for internal consumption vs external Audit?
6. What suggestions do you have for us to improve or even replace our existing reporting solution?

Thank you in advance for your feedback.

  • Suggestion for all available Reports:

    - Allow reports user to make any of the business-relevant output fields sortable as part of configuration.

Individual Reports requested by prospect (in RFP Presentation phase 2/6/18):

    - performance tracking and tools such as end-to-end provisioning time, serial/quorum approval time, and other user-defined metrics - color-coded for conformance to Service Level Agreements where relevant
    - entitlement history for a given user or group - when it was requested, reviewed, approved, fulfilled or removed
    - view pending requests and the ability to see what is needed for the request to complete
    - ability to view recently completed requests and identify everyone who was involved in the request - requestor, on behalf of user(s), approver(s), fulfillers
    - ability to view outstanding requests for access to a given application, by request type, user, approver, or fulfiller
    - ability to view request times for fulfilment of entitlements to a given application, by request type, user, approver, or fulfiller
    - ability to create customized charts which can be used within dashboards
    - performance for user-defined metrics on identity and access
    - Out-of-the box and ad-hoc compliance reports to SOX auditors with minimal effort.

  • Have a different type of access/permission on UI to create/view/edit/run/share reports. For instance, an user can view and run reports shared to this person. Another user can create and share reports to others.
