Desire the ability for an escalation to go from one manager and then on to the next manager, etc. So if your timeout values are for two weeks and your review time is for two months, you could essentially go through 2-3 escalations if there is no action on the review.
Will there be a workflow exposed to assist various customizations. Possibly a request for escalation sent out to a timout period where a manager gets a notification on approving the escalation or not with various decisions. Maybe the manager realizes that the review should really be done by a previous manager as the manager is new and the previous manager understands the systems much better, etc etc.

Thanks for the suggestions. The first part of this request is a known backlog item in Identity Governance, to be able to select escalation reviewers based on the relationship to the previous reviewer or to the person or item being reviewed. The second part about customizing alternatives is more intricate and will require further investigation.
