Much of the SSO client values could be populated as part of the install rather than having a default value of /cx or /oauth.html all of the parameters are there to give the full value since we know that they are using http or https, what port and what host name.

The documentation does not give examples for all of the parameters and doesn't give a specirfication on the valid format that shoudl be there that I recall seeing in the console or GUI install.

  • any idea on why it is flagged as inapropriate?

  • Greetings Fred,
I believe you are referencing what is seen in configupdate on the ID Gov SSO Client tab post install of ID Gov 3.5. We made changes in ID Gov 3.6 that address this behavior:

    1) During the OSP install we ask if ID Gov or ID Reporting will be installed. If yes, we then ask if they will on the same machine or remote. We ask for the URL then.

    2) Configupdate apart of ID Gov 3.6 has been enhanced to be able to connect, read, and update the ID Gov database.

I believe the above two (2) changes in ID Gov 3.6 address the behavior you have outlined in your first paragraph. If not, please let us know.
