As a review owner, I want to be able to set up recurring email notifications on a set interval based upon a time duration or amount of notifications. For example, I may want to set up reminders to go out every three days for a period of two weeks, then set up escalations to be sent every three days for another week. Or, I may wish to set up reminders to be sent every three days, but send out 4 reminders.

While each reminder can be set up individually, it's cumbersome and allows for a larger margin of error.

  • It should be like scheduling a recurring meeting in Outlook. Example: "Send a Reminder message to Reviewers every Wednesday for the Duration of the Review if they have not completed their Review"

  • This should be setup system wide so that the functionality is available for Review Owners and Review Definition to be able to configure, Review Tasks, Access Requests Approvals, Fulfillment Tasks. Should be able to target by user or group assignment, per application , so settings can be flexible to accommodate different situations.

  • Also, settings for this feature should be configurable to include "thresholds" for ceasing the reminders. E.g., "remind all reviewers weekly until review hits 95% completion point"

  • Ability to schedule recurring emails will be available in the Identity Governance 3.6 release in Dec 2019. Some of the more advanced features (end time, thresholds) will be investigated in a future release.
