In IG it is possible to chose User and Group e.g. for reviewer and request approvers. It is not possible to select other than users for Items owners like permissions and applications.

The request is to add the possibility to define groups as Item owners

• This is a very important feature as a best practices, a process should not include a person but a group or role. By the way that should be applied to all fields which have to define owner or reviewer or approver or fulfiller. I have seen the same limitation on permission owner and application owner as well.

• The ability to assign groups as permission owners is now available in Identity Governance 3.5. Application owners can be multiple users or groups. Reassigning review items to a group is a separate backlog.
