Our organization has struggled working with the current interface to create ActiveViews. Simple tasks such as adding a computer to a group have been difficult to setup. The EA command-line option is difficult to determine the syntax, taking more time than using the GUI console.

Luke, there was another request similar for automating the AVs. Would providing a set of PowerShell cmdlets for AV management be of interest to you?
Hi Jeff, that's correct - we would greatly benefit from a PowerShell interface to manage the delegation model (ActiveView, AssistantAdmin, Role, Power, etc.).
This is probably a duplicate of https://www1.v1ideas.com/MFI/directory-resource-administrator/Idea/Detail/15043
This is a duplication of another great idea . We are exploring using PS to build the delegation model and exploring where we can fit this into our road map.
For those who would like to use EA.exe but find that it's too hard to use, I wrote a PowerShell module that acts as a "wrapper" for EA.exe that (at least to me) is a lot easier to understand and use. You can download the installer from the Releases section of the GitHub project page: https://github.com/Bill-Stewart/PowerShell-DRADelegation -- also, feel free to leave questions or problems on the Issues tab. I expect that this project will be obsolete once MicroFocus/NetIQ adds native support, but this is getting me by for now.
