Many times a field requires a specific type of user accounts or other objects. For example, in a Manager field, I only want administrators to be able to query for users with an employeeID in them signifying that they are primary user accounts and not other types of resource/service/administrative accounts.

It would be great to have an ldap style filter available to filter the queries.

Along with that, it would be helpful to only allow specific objects to be selected in the search dialog. We need to be able to restrict the queries to specific objects types.
