Say you do the following:

- In the REST console, if you create a custom property page and link a drop down lists
- You assign selection options A,B and C to the list and link to a virtual attribute
- You save the page

Now, if a you browse within the REST console to a user that has value D assigned the that VA, it does not show in the field! The thick console would show it.

• As an aside, I believe we are doing this in our environment using a custom handler that queries for the value. If interested I could check our code and provide the handler script we're running.
