Often there are cache issues that can only be addressed by running a Full Accounts Cache Refresh. This has taken a significant amount of time in certain large enterprise environments (up to a day in some cases). Customers see the object live in AD but have to wait until DRA cache refreshes to move on with object tasks. Is there any thought to removing caching from DRA to interact directly with AD?

I've worked with clients to minimize cache issues. DRA server is rebooted on a weekly basis after business hours and we schedule a full-cache refresh on each DRA server once a week. This of course is done after business hours and on different days. The MMS synch is scheduled to run every 4 hours. You can disable this and run it manually if there are any changes to your delegation model or if you added any new VAs or made changes to user interface extensions.
