When creating Service Maps it is a very hit or miss affair if the map that gets saved looks like the map was when you pressed Save. Typically this will be things like:-

Another object is now at the front layer. i.e. text is hidden or an object is behind a coloured block etc.

We also need to be able to define items like default font and font size for object text, at the moment we have to change this on every object as they are imported as the hardcoded font is inappropriate.

There is no way of linking the same object discovered by different modules, e.g. Avaya CM module, Network device module and Ping. So in this case we need to add multiple AppManager objects to a Service Map (even though they are the same physical object). This makes laying out complex maps and even more complex task which is error prone.
