Multi-device enrollment should show the comment of the device during authentication. For example when a user enrolls to smartphone devices and then tries to use smartphone authentication method during login they only see the category names to select from. Why not show the comment set on the device instead of or in addition to the category name. The comment could be an email address, phone number, iphone model or whatever the user selects so the user can distinguish between devices when selecting them for login for methods such as email otp, sms otp, or smartphone.

Additionally, the default category name presented to the user if they DONT specify a comment to override, should not be "Default category" -- that's too technical and ugly to present to end users! Instead, I recommend a default naming convention of "<Method name> #1" -- with successive categories receiving the default name of "<Method name> #2" etc etc. For example, "Smartphone #1" and "Card #2" This is MUCH more user friendly.
