In the Admin UI there's currently no way to configure a "view only" account.
Therefore a new role should be introduced so that a user can login on the Admin UI to reflect changes/configurations.

I am not sure I understand this request.
What user should have "view" only rights to an Administrative portal?
Troy
Hi Troy,
we have some customers they would like to have the ability that they can set an option where specific admins may have read-only access to the administration portal.
What some other customer are asking for is an option that an administrator can specify write or read-only access for specific options. Extended user rights assignment
As an example:
User A: Has only write access to Repository
User B: Has only read access to Repository
User C: Has write access to Methods, Chains and Events
…
Hope this will help

I can investigate this. It is a big task as I am guessing that the request is for a matrixed list that clients can pick and choose from and assign specific roles.
