Applications that correctly implement RADIUS will show the Reply-Message value sent from the AAF server when authenticating with a chain. Right now, the Reply-Message that is sent is just the name of the method.

We would like to customize the Reply-Message that is sent with each method of a chain. This way we can provide pointed directions to the user on what to do ("Tap the flashing Y button on your YubiKey" versus just "HOTP".)

• This is about making the reply-message more meaningful to the end user because they may not be familiar with what a "HOTP" actually is.
