We want through the methods settings yesterday and when looking into the fingerprint options there was a threshold value to be adjusted. Some other adjustments in other types were e.g. the length of a PIN.
This raised the question in my head whether this settings can be adjusted to different scenarios.
Example:
If we would go with a fingerprint it is likely that we need to use reading sensors of different quality (due to different devices) or use it in different environments (like (more or less) clean office building versus kind of “dirty” manufacturing areas where users weared gloves or put some oil over some sensors). This different circumstances would require different threshold levels. Making it to hard blocks out the manufacturing guys, loosen it too much lowers the rate of accuracy though the plant guys could have a better recognition rate.

If I understand this request then I like it. What I would propose is that for Biometric methods we really need to separate them out individually so that each reader can be individually adjusted.
